The inspiration for the event. Former England, Wolves and Crystal Palace footballer and Cure Leukaemia Patron Geoff Thomas was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia in 2003 and given three months to live. Over a decade ago Geoff was told he was in remission after treatment from Cure Leukaemia co-founder Professor Charlie Craddock CBE.
James has been the Chief Executive of Cure Leukaemia since 2012 after six years as Commercial Director at Warwickshire County Cricket Club. James currently does not own a bike!
